Removal and installation of a heater
To remove, move the valve control handle to the right to failure and drain the liquid from the cooling system. Disconnect the wire "weight" from the battery. Loosen the clamps, disconnect the rubber hoses for supplying and draining fluid from the heater radiator tubes, and remove the rubber tube seal. Loosen the bolt securing the bracket of the flexible rod shell on the crane and remove the rod from the crane. Remove four spring clips 12 (see fig. 200) and, having disconnected the wires, remove the fan cover 2 as an assembly. Through the opening under the instrument cluster, loosen the screw securing the bracket of the shell of the air intake cover rod and remove the rod from the cover lever. Unscrew the fastening nuts and remove the radiator cover 5. When unscrewing one of the nuts on the left side of the casing, disconnect the wire "ground" fan motor.
The heater is installed in the reverse order. After installing and connecting all hoses, fill the cooling system with liquid and check the tightness of the connections.
Disassembly and assembly of the heater
Remove spring clips 17 (see fig. 200) and remove the electric fan from the casing. Unscrew the impeller fastening nut and remove the impeller from the electric motor. Unscrew the nut and remove the bracket 10 for fastening the inlet and outlet pipes. Remove the radiator from casing 5, unscrew the fastening nuts and remove the valve.
Assembly is carried out in reverse order. When assembling, it is necessary to pay attention to the correct installation of the sealing gasket 8.
Checking the technical condition
It is necessary to control the technical condition of the radiator and heater valve. The radiator is checked for dents, breakages and cracks. If it is impossible to eliminate the malfunction, the radiator is replaced with a new one.
The faucet may have internal valve failures caused by corrosion or wear. The crane is not disassembled, and if a malfunction is detected, it is replaced with a new one.
