Replacing headlight bulbs

To replace the headlight bulbs, unscrew screw 2 (see fig. 168) fastenings of the facing rim 1 and remove it, disengaging it from the bracket 6. Loosen the screws 5 fastening the rim of the optical element of the headlight, turn the rim counterclockwise and remove it. Then take out the optical element of the headlight and replace the lamp. After replacing the lamp, install the optical element so that the brackets of the optical element fit into the sockets of the inner rim of the headlight.

To replace the sidelight or taillight lamps, the lenses are removed by unscrewing the screws that secure them either outside or inside the body (depending on the design of the lanterns).

The lamp in the side direction indicator is replaced by removing the cartridge with the lamp from the inside of the wing. For license plate lights, to replace the lamp, the cartridge with the lamp is removed or the diffuser is removed (on cars 2102).

To replace the bulb in the dome light, remove the dome light from its socket.
