Before removing the cylinders, the working fluid is completely drained. To do this, one end of the hose is put on fitting 9 (see fig. 62) the working cylinder, and the other is lowered into a clean vessel with brake fluid. Unscrew the fitting 1/2-3/4 turn and press the pedal until the fluid is removed from the drive system. Then, the tubes connecting the main and working cylinders, the withdrawal spring 7 are disconnected, the cotter pin is removed from the end of the pusher and the working cylinder is removed.
To remove the master cylinder, unscrew the two nuts with which it is studded to the pedal bracket, and disconnect the flexible hose of the tank. Install the master and slave cylinders in reverse order.
After filling the actuator with working fluid, it is pumped as described below.
