To perform the work, you will need a thin slotted screwdriver or a piece of wire with a diameter of 1-1.5 mm.
It is more convenient to clean the drainage holes in the thresholds on a viewing hole or overpass.
Execution sequence
1. We prepare the car for operations (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. Having opened the hood, we process the loops with penetrating lubricant.
3. Similarly, we process the hinges of doors and trunk lids (tailgate).
4. With a penetrating lubricant, we process the wells of the larvae of the door locks and the trunk lid (tailgate).
Note To remove moisture from the internal cavities, three drainage holes are made in the lower part of the front doors, and two in the rear doors. There are three drainage holes in the thresholds.
5. We clean the drainage holes in the front and rear doors.
6. Similarly, we process the drainage holes in the thresholds of the body.
7. Apply grease to the front seat skid surfaces.
8. We apply a small amount of lubricant to the drive cable and the friction parts of the hood lock.
9. Apply grease to the contact surfaces of the hood rod.
10. Apply grease to the door opening limiter.
12. We process with grease the springs, axles and crackers of the door locks.
13. Apply grease to the spring and hinge of the fuel filler cap.
