Removing the front supports
1. We install the car on a viewing hole or overpass (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the mudguards (see "Mudguard - removal and installation").
3. socket wrench by 17 mm with a cardan, we unscrew the nut of the upper mounting of the support on the left side of the power unit.
4. Through the hole in the cross member, with the same tool, unscrew the nut of the lower support mount.
5. Raise the power unit with a jack and remove the support.
Installation
1. Installation of the support is carried out in the reverse order.
2. Before installing the nut of the lower mounting of the support, we place the nut in the socket wrench and, having screwed it on the stud, wrap it.
Similarly, we replace the support on the right side. To prevent heating of the support by the exhaust pipe, a heat shield is installed between the cross member and the right support.
The rear support of the power unit is attached to the rear cover and the transaxle cross member.
Removing the rear support
1. Remove the transmission cross member from the body studs (see "Cardan transmission - removal and installation").
2. socket wrench by 13 mm unscrew the two nuts securing the support to the rear cover of the gearbox.
3. Remove the transmission cross member assembly with support from the rear cover studs.
4. socket wrench by 13 mm unscrew the two nuts securing the support, holding the bolts from turning with a wrench of the same size.
5. Remove the support. A spacer sleeve is installed between the lugs of the support.
Installation
The installation of the support is carried out in the reverse order.
