Rear window cleaner

On parts of VAZ-2104 cars, a rear window cleaner can be installed along with an electric pump, a reservoir and rear window washer tubes. The wiring diagram for the rear window wiper and washer is shown in rice. 223. The cleaner and washer are switched on by the key switch 5. In the middle position of the switch key, only the cleaner is turned on, and when the key is fully pressed, the washer is also turned on.

The drive has a reusable thermal bimetallic fuse for overload protection. The design of the electric drive allows its disassembly to eliminate minor faults (collector cleaning, etc.). The disassembly and assembly methods are the same as described earlier for the windshield wiper motor.

When the electric drive is loaded with a torque of 0.05 kgf·m, supply voltage 14 V and ambient temperature (25±10) °С the number of double strokes of the electric drive shaft must be (50±5) per minute, and the current consumption is not more than 2 A.
