Master cylinder
Remove protective cap 17 (see fig. 111) from the cylinder piston, retaining ring 18 and unscrew the plug from the cylinder body. Then remove piston 8, O-ring 7, piston 6, O-ring 20 and piston return spring 23 from the cylinder. If it is necessary to replace the fitting 4, remove the lock washer 5 with a screwdriver, then the fitting 4 and its sealing ring.
Working cylinder
Remove protective cap 12 (see fig. 112) together with the pusher 4, remove the piston and disassemble it, after removing the retaining ring 18.
After dismantling the master and slave cylinders, flush their parts with brake fluid. The use of gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel or mineral oils is unacceptable, since rubber seals swell from these substances.
