Windshield frame panel replacement
The dotted line indicates the felling lines, the dots indicate the contact welding seams. In the main view, the arrows show the places of gas welding, the arrows show the fragments of the felling place.
1. Drill out the resistance welding points in the frame and air box joints with a 6 mm drill bit.
2. If replacing the window frame panel and roof panel at the same time, make marks on the gutters on both sides of the seams between the roof and windscreen frame panel.
3. Chisel off frame panel (felling lines are shown in dotted lines) from racks, gutters and amplifiers. Use wire cutters to remove the remaining strips of metal and straighten the edges.
4. Torch and scrape the paint on the parts along the fit of the windshield frame and on both sides of the edge of the frame panel.
5. Install new frame panel and secure with hooks. When installing the panel, align the marks on the gutters with the roof joints. Gas welding tack the frame panel in the places shown in the figure.
6. Install the hood and check the fit of the panel. Check the dimensions of the wind window opening and weld the panel with gas welding with brass wire L-62, L-68 by fusing edges 10 mm long every 50 mm. Clean the joints on the frame panel with a grinder.
7. Partial replacement of the windscreen frame panel is allowed with the roof panel installed.
