Checking the brake fluid level
The level of brake fluid with the cap installed and new brake linings should reach the lower edge of the filler neck.
At the same time, it is necessary to check the correct operation of the emergency level sensor, for which it is necessary to press the central part of the protective cap from above. At the same time, the control lamp in the instrument cluster should light up if the ignition is on.
The control lamp for signaling the emergency state of the service brake system lights up when the fluid level in the reservoir has dropped below the mark "MIN", which, with partially worn or new brake pad linings, indicates a loss of system tightness and fluid leakage. Topping up the liquid in this case is carried out only after the restoration of the tightness of the system.
If the hydraulic brake drive is in good order, the lowering of the fluid level in the reservoir is due to the wear of the linings of the brake pads. Lowering the liquid level to the mark "MIN" indirectly indicates their limiting wear. In this case, it is necessary to directly monitor the condition of the pads.
When checking the technical condition of the brakes, the front and rear brakes are preliminarily cleaned of dirt, washed with warm water and dried with compressed air. It is not allowed to use any mineral solvents, as they can cause damage to the protective caps and seals of the hydraulic cylinders.
Contaminated pad linings, discs and drums are cleaned with a wire brush and washed with detergents or "Auto brake cleaner "STOP". If traces of brake fluid are found on the linings, it is necessary to find and eliminate the causes of its appearance. Keep brake pads, discs and drums free of oil or grease during maintenance.
Checking the coolant level
The coolant level in the expansion tank must always be 3-4 cm above the mark "MIN". Check the level and open the cap of the tank for adding liquid only on a cold engine. After topping up the liquid, the tank cap must be tightly wrapped, since the expansion tank is under pressure when the engine is running and warm.
In extreme cases, clean water can be added to the cooling system. But at the same time, the freezing point of the mixture rises and the corrosion resistance of the aluminum radiator decreases. Therefore, as soon as possible, it is necessary to repair the system and fill it with coolant.

Tire pressure check
The air pressure in the tires, including the spare wheel, is checked with a pressure gauge. We recommend having the pressure gauge checked periodically by a service company.
If there is a constant drop in air pressure in the tire, check with a soapy solution for air leakage through the valve spool. In case of air leakage, tighten the spool with a wrench at the end of the cap, and if this does not help, replace it with a new one.
If the pressure drops with a serviceable spool, then repair the tire with a special sealant applied to the car in accordance with the recommendations on its packaging.
To avoid damage to the sealing layer of the bead of the tire, dismantle and install it using a special tool or on a tire changer in a repair shop.
After installing new tires, be sure to have the wheels balanced by a workshop.
When operating a vehicle with tubeless tires, avoid rubbing the wheels against road curbs and driving fast on uneven roads (potholes, potholes, etc.), since damage to the wheel rim can cause tire leakage and wheel imbalance. If vibrations occur while driving, the wheel balance must be checked.
