Cooling system device
1 - a pipe for draining liquid from the heater radiator; 2 - branch pipe for draining hot liquid from the cylinder head to the heater radiator; 3 - thermostat bypass hose; 4 - outlet branch pipe of the cooling jacket; 5 – the inlet hose of a radiator; 6 - expansion tank; 7 – cooling jacket; 8 - radiator cap; 9 - radiator tube; 10 - fan casing; 11 - fan; 12 - pulley; 13 - outlet hose of the radiator; 14 - fan belt; 15 - coolant pump; 16 - hose for supplying coolant to the pump; 17 - thermostat
Cooling system - liquid, closed type, with forced circulation of liquid, with an expansion tank.
The coolant pump is centrifugal type, driven from the crankshaft pulley by a V-belt 14.
Fan 11 has a four-bladed impeller that is bolted to hub 5 (see fig. Longitudinal section of the coolant pump) pulley 8 is driven by the pump drive belt.
The thermostat with a solid temperature-sensitive filler has a main 9 (see fig. Thermostat) and bypass 2 valves. Beginning of opening of the main valve at a coolant temperature of 77–86°C, the stroke of the main valve is at least 6 mm.
Radiator - vertical, tubular-lamellar, with two rows of tubes and tinned steel plates. In the plug 8 of the filler neck there are inlet and outlet valves.
