1. Remove fan drive belt 2 and top protective cover 8 (see fig. Camshaft Drive Diagram).
2. Turn the crankshaft and align the mark "WITH" on pulley 1 of the crankshaft with a mark "D" (TDC) on the middle protective cover 5, and the label "F" on pulley 9 of the camshaft with a mark "E" on the cylinder head cover.
3. Remove the middle 5 and bottom 3 protective covers.
4. Remove the spring 12, loosen the bolts 6, move the bracket 11 of the tension roller to the extreme left position and remove the belt 10.
5. Put a new belt behind pulley 1, put it on the toothed pulley 4 of the crankshaft and, pulling the belt, put it on the pulley 13 of the oil pump drive roller and on the pulley 9 of the camshaft.
6. Put the belt on the tension roller 7, push the bracket 11 to the right and install the spring 12. Smoothly rotate the crankshaft two turns, keeping the belt in constant tension and not loosening it when the shaft stops. Tighten bolts 6.
7. Check label match "E", "F" and labels "WITH", "D". If the marks do not match, reinstall the belt.
8. Install protective covers 3, 5 and 8, put on the fan drive belt and tighten it.
9. Check and, if necessary, adjust the ignition timing.
