An assistant is required to complete the work.
Removing
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the lock and the larva (see "The lock and lock cylinder of the trunk lid - removal and installation").
3. socket wrench by 10 mm on one side, unscrew the two nuts securing the trunk lid to the body hinges.
4. Holding the trunk lid, on the other hand, unscrew the remaining two nuts of its fastening and remove the trunk lid.
Installation
1. We install the trunk lid on the hinges, without finally tightening the nuts for attaching it to the hinges.
2. Close the lid and achieve even gaps. Carefully open the cover and finally tighten the nuts.
3. If necessary, adjust the position of the lock latch,
by loosening it with a spanner or socket wrench by 10 mm two fixing bolts. By moving the latch left and right, we achieve a tight closure of the lid with uniform gaps around the perimeter. We turn the bolts.
