To do the job, you will need an assistant, as well as an impact screwdriver.
Removing
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. With pliers, we squeeze the guides of the door opening limiter and remove them from the holes in the A-pillar.
3. If necessary, remove the limiter with a socket wrench by 10 mm unscrew the two bolts securing the limiter to the door.
4. Remove the limiter from the hole in the end of the door.
5. Using an impact screwdriver, loosen the five screws securing the upper and lower door hinges.
6. Holding the door, finally unscrew the screws of its fastening and remove it.
Installation
1. The door is installed in the reverse order, focusing on the unpainted areas of the A-pillar.
2. We adjust the position of the door in the opening of the body so that the gaps around the perimeter of the door are uniform.
3. If necessary, adjust the position of the door latch by loosening it with a socket wrench by 10 mm three fixing bolts. By moving the latch, we achieve a tight closing of the door with uniform gaps around the perimeter. We turn the bolts.
