Sliding window removal
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. Lower the glass and remove the front door upholstery (see "Front door upholstery - removal and installation").
3. We mark with a marker or a knot of thread the position of the cable relative to the pressure plate.
4. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the cable pressure plate to the glass bracket.
5. Remove the plate and lower the glass until it stops.
6. To access the front guide of the sliding window, remove the protective film.
7. socket wrench by 8 mm unscrew the nut securing the front glass guide.
8. We bring the guide down from the groove of the frame of the turning glass frame and take it out with the seal from the technological hole of the inner door panel.
9. We unscrew the two screws securing the rear guide of the sliding glass (see "The lock and the external handle of a forward door - removal and installation").
10. Remove the power window cable from the lower roller (see "Front door power window mechanism - removal and installation").
11. We take out the glass with the bracket from the lower technological opening of the inner door panel.
Installation
1. We install the front door sliding glass in the reverse order, guided by the mark previously applied on the cable.
2. By moving the roller, we adjust the tension of the cable and check the smooth operation of the drive.
3. We lower the glass and, pressing the front guide towards it, we wrap the nut of its fastening.
4. Installation of the remaining removed parts is carried out in reverse order.
Removing the turning glass
1. Remove the sliding glass (see above "Sliding window removal").
2. We remove the upper seal of the sliding glass from the door frame.
3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the upper and lower screws securing the frame of the rotary glass.
4. Remove the frame with swivel glass.
Installation
Install all removed parts in reverse order.
