1. We install the car on a viewing hole or overpass (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. We check the tightening of all threaded connections of the rear suspension parts and tighten the loose connections.
3. We check the operation of the shock absorbers, for which we alternately vigorously apply force from top to bottom to the rear left and right wings. The body should return to its original position with only one upward movement. If the efficiency of vibration damping decreases, as well as fluid leaks from at least one shock absorber, both should be replaced. There must be no play in the places where the shock absorbers are attached. Shock absorber cushions should not have cracks or signs of rubber aging.
4. We inspect the suspension springs - sagging or cracked must also be replaced with a pair.
5. We check the absence of mechanical damage to the rods.
To check the rubber-metal hinge of the rod, we insert the mounting blade between the eye of the rod and the bracket for its fastening, trying to move the rod.
The rod that moves relative to the rubber bushing of the hinge must be replaced. Rods with a cracked or rubber-metal hinge squeezed out to one side must also be replaced.
