Removing
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. We clean the air filter housing from dirt.
3. Using pliers, loosen the clamp securing the crankcase exhaust hose.
4. Remove the hose from the fitting and remove the flame arrester from it.
5. We wash the flame arrester in acetone.
6. After loosening the hose clamp of the warm air intake hose, remove the hose from the nozzle.
7. Remove the cover of the air filter housing and remove the filter element (see "Air filter element - replacement").
8. socket wrench by 8 mm unscrew the four nuts of the filter mounting plate.
9. Remove the filter housing, mounting plate and rubber gasket from the carburetor studs, making sure that the spacer bushings do not fall out of the rubber gasket holes.
10. We clean the inner surface of the filter housing.
Installation
1. Install all removed parts in reverse order.
Attention! When installing the filter housing on the carburetor, carefully tighten the nuts, as excessive force will strip the threads in the fasteners.
