Door Window Lifter Replacement

Removing the glass from the door (see Replacing the front door sliding glass and Replacing the sliding and fixed glass of the rear door). To prevent the power window cable from jumping off the grooves of the drum, we tie it with wire.

key «on 10» loosen the tightening screw of the tension roller (see Replacing the front door sliding glass and Replacing the sliding and fixed glass of the rear door) and remove the cable from it. We remove the cable from the remaining rollers of the door.



key «for 8» unscrew the three nuts securing the power window mechanism...



...and take it out of the door.



If necessary, finally unscrew the tension roller nut and remove the roller from the door.

Install the window regulator in reverse order. We remove the wire only after the cable is tensioned.
