key «at 22» unscrew the self-locking nut from the ball pin of the upper support.
With a special tool (see Applications) press the ball pin out of the steering knuckle.
If there is no fixture, then the ball pin can be pressed out with strong hammer blows on the eye of the steering knuckle, while simultaneously pressing the upper lever from it with a mounting blade.
Two keys «at 13» unscrew the three nuts securing the ball joint to the upper arm.
The ball joint with a protective cover is attached to the lever through the pressure plate.
The nut of the lower ball joint cannot be completely unscrewed immediately, since it rests on the steering knuckle lever. Therefore the key «at 22» first we turn it off 3-4 turns.
We install the fixture and press the ball pin out of the steering knuckle.
We completely unscrew the self-locking nut and, raising the steering knuckle, remove it from the ball pin.
keys «at 13» unscrew the three nuts securing the ball joint to the lower arm. It is attached to it without a pressure plate.
Before installing new ball bearings, make sure that they are lubricated and that the protective covers are intact.
To completely remove the steering knuckle from the front suspension arms, we press out one ball pin with a tool and insert a suitable stop instead. Press out the second ball pin.
Install ball joints in reverse order.
