Removing
1. We prepare the car for operations (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the rear license plate lights (see "Rear license plate lamp - removing and replacing lamps").
3. Remove the lock and the larva (see above, "The lock and lock cylinder of the trunk lid - removal and installation").
4. We remove the rubber sealing washer from the hole in the inner panel of the trunk lid.
5. Pull out the wiring harness for the rear license plate lights.
6. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the nut and remove "mass" wire from the cover stud.
7. Holding the trunk lid, unscrew the remaining three nuts securing it to the hinges and remove the trunk lid.
Installation
1. We install the trunk lid on the hinges, without finally tightening the nuts for attaching it to the hinges.
2. Close the lid and achieve even gaps. Carefully open the cover and finally tighten the nuts.
3. Install the lock and trunk lock cylinder.
4. We tie the wire to the wiring harness for the rear license plate lights and push it through the technological holes in the inner panel.
5. If necessary, adjust the position of the lock latch by loosening the two bolts securing the latch with a 10 mm socket or spanner wrench. By moving the latch left and right, we achieve a tight closure of the lid with uniform gaps around the perimeter. We turn the bolts.
6. Further assembly is carried out in reverse order.
