Removing
1. We prepare the car for operations (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
Warning! Before performing the following operations, it is recommended to place a rag under the nozzles.
2. In the engine compartment, use a screwdriver to loosen the clamps for fastening the coolant inlet and outlet hoses.
3. Remove the hoses from the radiator pipes and heater tap. In this case, a small amount of coolant may leak from the openings of the pipes and hoses.
4. Using a 7 mm socket wrench, unscrew the two screws securing the seal to the body.
5. Remove the seal from the nozzles.
6. Disconnect the drive rod from the heater tap (see "Heater valve - replacement").
7. Remove the heater fan cover (see "Heater fan motor - replacement").
8. Bringing the radiator pipes out of the hole in the partition of the engine compartment, remove the heater radiator.
9. Using a 10 mm spanner, unscrew the two bolts securing the radiator outlet pipe.
10. Remove the pipe. The junction of the flanges of the branch pipe and the radiator is sealed with a rubber gasket.
11. Remove the heater valve from the radiator (see "Heater valve - replacement").
Installation
1. We replace rubber gaskets and clamps with new ones.
2. Install all removed parts in reverse order.
3. Before filling the coolant, move the heater valve control lever to the extreme right position.
4. Add coolant (see "Coolant - level check and replacement").
5. After filling the system with coolant, we check the tightness of the connections and, if necessary, tighten them.
