Fuses

Fuses installed in the mounting block (pic. 71). The mounting block is closed from above with a transparent cover, on which symbols indicating the purpose of the relay and circuits protected by fuses are applied. The transparent cover allows you to visually check the condition of the fuses without removing it.



In addition, there is another 8A fuse, which is located on the bundle of wires suitable for the rear fog light switch (pos, 18 fig. 4). This fuse protects the rear fog lamp circuits.

Before replacing a blown fuse, find out and eliminate the cause of the blown fuse. A blown fuse may only be replaced with a similar fuse.

It is not allowed to use the mounting block with a damaged transparent cover or body.

Circuits protected by fuses are shown in table 7.

Fuses do not protect the ignition circuit, engine start, generator (except for the excitation winding), headlight low relay, headlight high relay.
