Removing
1. We install the car on a viewing hole or overpass (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. On a car with a carburetor engine, disconnect the additional muffler from the exhaust pipe (see "Downpipe - removal and installation"), and on a car with an injection system, disconnect the converter from the additional muffler (see "Catalytic converter - removal and installation").
3. Using a 13 mm socket wrench, unscrew the nut of the coupling clamp, holding the bolt from turning with a key of the same size, and move the clamp from the junction of the additional and main mufflers.
4. We apply a penetrating lubricant with a rust converter to the junction of the main and additional silencers and give the connection "get wet".
5. Turning the additional muffler relative to the main one and applying a downward force, we disconnect the mufflers.
Installation
We install an additional muffler in the reverse order, applying graphite grease to the surface of the joints.
