Removing
1. We install the car on a viewing hole or overpass (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. Disconnect the cross member of the rear support of the power unit from the body (see "Power unit supports - replacement").
3. Having loosened the nut with a slotted screwdriver, unscrew the nut and disconnect the flexible shaft of the speedometer.
4. On a car with an injection engine, remove the speed sensor (see "Speed sensor - removal and installation").
5. Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the speedometer drive fastening nut.
6. Pressing the gearbox, remove the speedometer drive, disengaging the gear on its shaft from engagement with the gear on the secondary shaft of the gearbox.
Installation
Install all removed parts in reverse order.
Attention! When connecting the flexible shaft of the speedometer to the drive, the shank of the flexible shaft must fall into the hole in the end of the drive shaft.
