Tailgate — design description

Hung to the rear roof beam on two hinges 3 (pic. 162). Gaskets 2 and 4 are installed under the hinge links. A lock is attached to the bottom of the inner panel of the door. The latch of the lock is fixed to the upper cross member of the tailgate. Enlarged holes in the latch allow you to adjust its position on the crossbar. In the open position, the door is held by non-separable gas-filled stops 6. The rear glass of the tailgate is sealed with a rubber seal.
