Disconnect the fastening brackets of the shells of the rods 1, 7, 12, 19 (see fig. 171) on the heater casings and remove the rods from the damper drive levers. Loosen hose clamps 15 and 16 (see fig. 170) heater radiator on tap 17 and heater radiator 13 and remove the hoses. Unscrew the three screws securing the heater radiator and remove it from the heater. Disconnect the resistor 19 from the heater casing.
If the electric fan has not been previously removed from the heater, unscrew the two fastening screws and remove it as an assembly. Separate the casing 10 and 18, having previously removed the brackets 11 for fastening the casings. Disconnect the support 21 from the casing 18 and remove the flap 9. Squeeze the antennae of the fastener of the flap 13 (see fig. 171) heating the legs, remove the lever 6 of the damper drive. Disconnect the heater insert and the damper 10 for heating the windshield.
The heater is assembled in the reverse order. Before assembly, inspect the heater casing, dampers and seals. If necessary, the damper seals and the windshield air duct seal are glued with 88NP-35 glue. When assembling, it is necessary to pay attention to the correct installation of gaskets and to the reliability of tightening the hose clamps.
