Radiator of the cooling system — removal and installation

Removal operations are carried out on a cold engine. Open the heater valve and remove the plug from the expansion tank. Unscrew the drain plugs of the radiator and cylinder block, drain the coolant. Disconnect the electrical wires from the electric fan and its sensor, as well as the hoses from the radiator.

Unscrew the nuts and bolts for fastening the fan casing and the brackets for the top mounting of the radiator, remove the bracket and, holding the radiator, remove the casing assembly with the electric fan. The top of the radiator is taken away somewhat towards the engine compartment and removed from the pillows of the lower supports and from the engine compartment.

If necessary, unscrew the fastening nuts and remove the electric fan from the casing.

Install the radiator in reverse order.
