Fuel tank — removal and installation

Before removing the fuel tank 16 (see fig. 13) disconnect the wire «minus» from the battery. Raise the rear seat cushion, floor mat and remove the floor hatch cover. Disconnect the electrical wires and hoses from the fuel level sensor 9. Remove as much fuel as possible from the tank.

The clamps 17 of the fuel tank are loosened, the hoses of the filling pipe 14 and the separator 10 are disconnected, the tank is removed and the remaining gasoline is drained from the tank.

The installation of the tank is carried out in the reverse order.
