1. Adjustment buffer. 2. Safety hook. 3. Hood latch. 4. Wire engine compartment lamp. 5. Washer tee. 6. Washer hoses. 7. Engine compartment lamp. 8. Hood stop.
Before the beginning: disconnect the wire from "–" battery terminals.
Note. We recommend removing and installing the hood with two people.
1. Open the hood and mark the location of the bolts on the bracket with a felt-tip pen.
2. Disconnect the washer hose from the tee on the hood and remove the hose from the hood.
3. Disconnect the block with wires from the engine compartment lamp and remove the wires from the hood.
Note. If you do not intend to change the hood, we recommend tying a wire or rope to the block. When you take out the wires, untie the rope and leave it inside the hood. This will make it easier to route the wires to the engine compartment lamp when installing the hood.
4. Unscrew the two bolts securing the hinges to the hood on both sides and remove the hood.
5. Install the hood in the reverse order of removal. If you are installing an old hood, align it to the previously made marks before final tightening the bolts. If you have replaced the hood, its position must be adjusted.
