1. Engage first gear and place wheel chocks under the front wheels ("shoes"). Loosen both rear wheel bolts. Hang the rear of the car and remove the wheels.
Note. Loosen and tighten the wheel bolts only with the vehicle on the ground. Bolt tightening torque 65–95 Nm (6.5–9.5 kgf·m).
2. Remove the tips of both parking brake cables from the equalizer and remove the cables from the holders on the bottom of the car.
3. Disconnect the rear wheel brake hoses from the pipelines on both sides of the vehicle and the pressure regulator elastic lever link from the bracket on the beam.
4. Turn away nuts of the bottom fastening of racks, take out bolts and disconnect racks from arms of a beam on both parties of the car. Assistants must hold the beam.
It is necessary to remove the rear axle with assistants who will hold and lower the rear suspension beam.
5. Turn away on a bolt of fastening of a beam to an arm of a body on both parties of the car, lower a beam of a back suspension bracket and take out it from under the bottom.
6. Install the rear suspension beam in the reverse order of removal. After lowering the vehicle to the ground, rock the rear of the vehicle hard several times. Tighten the appropriate moments: the nut of the lower mounting of the shock absorber to the beam - 68–84 Nm (6.8–8.4 kgf·m), the nut for attaching the beam to the body bracket - 68–84 N·m (6.8–8.4 kgf·m). Bleed the brake system and adjust the parking brake actuator. After a run of 100 km, re-tighten these threaded connections to the required torque.
