- jack
- support post
Tip: We recommend replacing the standard jack with a screw or hydraulic jack.
Tip: On soft ground, we recommend placing an additional support under the bottom platform of the jack, such as a wooden block.
Attention! It is forbidden to work with the car installed only on a jack. Always place stable supports under the vehicle.
Attention! Before jacking up the front of the vehicle, be sure to brake the vehicle with the parking brake and place chocks under the rear wheels.
Attention! Before jacking up the rear of the vehicle, engage first gear and place chocks under the front wheels.
1. Install the lower support pad of the jack on a horizontal section.
2. Check that the bottom support platform of the jack should be exactly under the socket on the car body.
3. Check - the heel of the jack should enter the socket on the body.
4. Raise the vehicle by turning the jack handle. This must be done carefully, because if installed incorrectly, the jack may "take shape", as it has insufficient transverse rigidity. 5. Install support stands. Lower the jack slightly to lower the car onto the stands.
6. When lifting the rear of the car, the racks are installed under the rear suspension beam.
7. When lifting the front of the car, the racks are installed under the side members.
8. When raising the car with a jack, place the feet under the jack sockets.
