Be sure to disconnect the battery (see subsection 2.21.).
The dipped beam / high beam lamp is halogen and heats up to a high temperature during operation. Do not touch the bulb with your hands: greasy traces will remain on it, as a result of which the lamp will quickly burn out. If you accidentally touch the bulb, wipe it with a clean cloth soaked in alcohol.
1. Open the hood. Rotate the headlight housing cover 90°counterclockwise and remove the cover.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness from the lamp socket.
3. Pull both ends of the spring clip out of the slots...
4....and turn the spring clip down.
5. Take out the lamp.
6. Insert a new lamp without touching the glass bulb with your fingers. Insert the ends of the spring clip into the slots. Connect the wiring harness and close the cover by turning it 90°clockwise.
