3. Remove the padlock.
4. Disconnect the thrust of the gear motor from the lock.
5. Holding the nut from turning with a 7 mm wrench, use a slotted screwdriver to unscrew the screw securing the thrust.
6. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, unscrew the bolt securing the trunk lock cylinder.
7. From the outside, remove the lock from the trunk lid.
8. Disconnect the rod from the lock and remove the rubber seal.
9. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the three nuts securing the cover lock.
10. Remove the internal lock from the trunk lid.
11. If necessary, use a 10 mm key to unscrew the two bolts securing the lock retainer and remove it from the rear panel.
Installation
We install the lock and all previously removed parts on the car in reverse order.
Adjustment
After loosening the bolts of the lock retainer, we move it from side to side and find its position in which the middle of the lock loop exactly falls into the slot of the lock, after which we tighten the bolts of the lock.
The density of closing the trunk lid is adjustable by moving the lock within its mounting holes.
