Removing
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the front wheel of the car (see "Wheel - replacement").
3. Using a 19 mm socket wrench, unscrew the nut of the ball joint pin.
4. Using a 17 mm socket wrench, unscrew the two bolts securing the ball joint to the steering knuckle.
5. Install a puller on the end of the lever.
6. Wrapping the puller bolt with a 17 mm open-end wrench, press the ball joint pin out of the lever hole and remove the ball joint.
7. If the ball joint fails, it must be replaced.
Installation
1. Apply lubricant (ShRB-4, Litol-24 or similar) on the ball end of your finger.
2. We put grease into the inner cavity of the anther of the ball joint.
3. We install the ball joint and all removed parts on the car in the reverse order of removal.
