Checking the coolant level in the expansion tank 1 (pic. 43) carry out only on a cold engine. The fluid level should be at mark A (top edge of recess for fastening belt). During operation, the liquid level in the expansion tank may decrease. Top up the coolant through the hole closed by plug 2. After topping up the liquid, the plug must be tightly wrapped, since the expansion tank is under pressure when the engine is running and warm.
Warning! To avoid burns, do not open the cap of the expansion tank when the coolant is hot.
