Removing
1. We prepare the car for repair work (see point 2 "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three screws securing the right trim of the instrument panel console and remove the trim.
3. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, loosen the two nuts securing the electronic control unit.
4. Having shifted forward, we remove the plastic bracket of the computer from engagement with the studs of the bracket of electronic units and remove the computer from under the console.
5. Having released the latch, the wiring harness connectors, disconnect the connector from the electronic control unit.
6. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the four bolts securing the control unit to the bracket.
7. We remove the electronic unit from the bracket from the car.
8. A defective electronic control unit must be replaced.
Installation
We install the electronic unit and all removed parts on the car in the reverse order of removal.
