Comment. The work is shown on the front left seat. The right seat is removed and installed in the same way.
Removing
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Move the seat forward until it stops.
3. We remove the ends of the torsion bars from engagement with the front pillars of the seat.
Attention! When performing the following operation, be careful that the bracket lock may be broken.
4. Using a slotted screwdriver, remove the torsion bars from the latches of the right and left seat mounting brackets.
5. We remove the lower ends of the torsion bars from the holes in the left and right brackets of the seat mounts.
6. Deep socket socket wrench by 13 mm unscrew the four nuts securing the two seat brackets and remove the brackets from the studs.
7. Tilt the seat back, with a socket wrench by 8 mm unscrew the two bolts of the front sled mounts.
8. Sliding the seat forward with a socket wrench by 8 mm unscrew the three bolts of the rear mounts of the sled.
Warning! When removing the front seats from the car, be careful: you can get hurt or scratch the upholstery with the sharp ends of the sled.
9. Remove the seat through the front door opening.
Installation
Install the seat in reverse order.
