Silencer — replacement

To perform the work, a viewing hole or overpass is required.

Attention! Before proceeding with the repair, make sure that the elements of the system are not hot.

Removing

1. We prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. socket wrench by 13 mm unscrew the nuts of the two coupling bolts of the clamp of the main muffler, holding the bolts with a spanner wrench of the same size.



3. Remove the clamp and remove the sealing ring.



4. Remove the pillows from the muffler brackets (see "Silencer suspension pads - replacement") and remove the muffler from the opening between the bottom of the body and the rear suspension beam.

Installation

Install the muffler in reverse order. If necessary, we replace damaged or loose silencer suspension pads.
