Removing
1. For convenience, remove the air filter (see "Air filter - removal and installation").
2. We loosen the tightening and turn off the adjusting nut and the clutch cable locknut a few turns (see above, "Clutch release actuator - adjustment").
3. We remove the tip of the cable from the slot of the fork.
4. Two open end wrenches by 17 mm unscrew the two nuts securing the cable sheath to the bracket on the gearbox housing by a few turns.
5. We take out the shell from the bracket.
6. Prying off the seal with a hand or a screwdriver, remove it from the hole in the partition of the engine compartment.
7. Remove the expansion tank of the engine cooling system without disconnecting the hoses (see "Expansion tank - removal and installation").
8. Remove the left side of the upholstery of the engine compartment (see "Upholstery of the engine compartment - removal and installation").
9. Using a wrench with a removable cross tip or a short Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the left self-tapping screw of the rubber boot.
10. We remove the left edge of the cover from the flanging and take it to the side, opening the opening.
11. Prying with a slotted screwdriver, remove the spring fixing bracket of the cable attachment axis.
12. Remove the tip of the cable from the axis.
Warning! There is a polyethylene bushing in the cable end hole - do not lose it.
13. In the cabin under the instrument panel with a key by 8 mm unscrew the nut securing the cable sheath bracket.
14. We bring the drive cable through the hole in the partition of the engine compartment into the passenger compartment and remove it.
Installation
Install the cable in reverse order. Using a slotted screwdriver, we fill the edge of the rubber cable seal into the hole in the partition of the engine compartment.
