Description of body structure

Body type hatchback, all-metal, welded, load-bearing structure (frameless). The body of the 113 is a three-door, while the 114 is a five-door. Removable body elements: front fenders, hood, doors, bumpers. The rigidity of the front bumper is given by a plastic energy-absorbing element. Fog lights are installed in the windows of the front bumper on some cars.

Decorative trims are installed on the doors and front fenders of the car.

Window regulators of doors can be both with a mechanical and with an electric drive. Wind, rear and side (not drop) glass - installed in the openings of the body on rubber seals. Since 2005, athermal glasses have been installed on some cars. They have a greenish tint and in sunny weather prevent intense heating of the air in the cabin.

The front doors are equipped with external rear-view mirrors, adjustable from the passenger compartment.

A spoiler with an additional brake light is installed on the tailgate. Bumpers are made of plastic and painted in body color.

The stiffness of the rear bumper is provided by a steel channel.

The front seats are separate, equipped with headrests, have adjustments for longitudinal movement and backrest tilt. The rear seat is triple, unregulated, folding. There are two head restraints on the back of the rear seat.

Seats for the driver and passengers are equipped with seat belts. The central seat of the rear seat is equipped with a lap belt, the rest are inertial with three attachment points.
