Adjustment
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. We measure the free play of the brake pedal (see "Brake Pedal - Free Play Check"). If the amount of free play does not correspond to the required one, adjust its position.
3. Remove the wire blocks from the terminals of the brake signal switch.
4. Open end wrench by 19 mm loosen one of the two locknuts on the switch. The brake light switch is also the stop of the brake pedal in its upper position. To reduce free play - screw the nut (1) on the switch and tighten the nut (2). To increase the free play - unscrew the nut (2) and tighten the nut (1).
5. By pressing the brake pedal several times, we check the operation of the brake signals.
