5. With the same screwdriver, unscrew the three screws securing the contact plate of the horn switch and take it aside.
6. If necessary, install the steering wheel in its original position, in any way possible (marker, marker) make alignment marks on the shaft and steering wheel.
7. socket wrench by 24 mm with an extension, unscrew the steering wheel nut on the shaft.
8. To loosen the fastening of the steering wheel on the splines of the steering shaft, we apply several blows with a hammer on the end of the shaft through a soft metal drift, while propping the steering wheel with our knees towards ourselves.
9. Remove the steering wheel from the shaft.
Installation
We install the steering wheel in reverse order, aligning the marks made earlier and installing a new self-locking nut.
Tip: If you need to install the steering wheel in a new position (for example, earlier it was crooked), put the wheel on the shaft and fix it with the nut without tightening it. After driving straight for a few meters - make sure it is in the correct position. If necessary, rearrange the steering wheel to the required number of splines and tighten the nut.
