Tip: In order not to confuse the leads on the ignition module (ignition coil), it is more convenient to change high-voltage wires one by one.
1. We prepare the car for the operation (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Disconnect the high voltage wires from the spark plugs.
3. Disconnect the tips of high-voltage wires from the module (coils) ignition.
4. Multimeter (in ohmmeter mode) measure the resistance of the wires.
5. Good wires have resistance (depending on length) should be in the range of 3.5-10.0 kOhm.
Recommendation: Replace high-voltage wires as a set.
6. We connect the wires to the spark plugs and the ignition coil in accordance with the serial numbers of the cylinders printed on the wires and on the ignition coil (see "Coil (module) ignition - check and replacement").
Warning! It is only necessary to connect wires to the ignition module in accordance with the serial number of the cylinder. The insulation of the wires is marked - the serial number of the cylinder.
