To remove air from the system, it is necessary to bleed the brakes. The procedure for bleeding the brakes is quite simple, but it is more convenient to carry it out with an assistant.
1. After making sure that the reservoir on the main brake cylinder is full, clean the bleeding fitting on one of the rear brakes from dirt and put a rubber hose of the appropriate diameter on the fitting. Dip the end of the hose into a transparent vessel with a small amount of brake fluid, ask an assistant to press the brake pedal several times and hold it down.
2. Slightly unscrew the fitting with a wrench until the pedal «fail», and liquid with air bubbles will not flow from the hose. Without releasing the pedal, tighten the fitting. Repeat the operation until no more bubbling occurs.
3. After pumping the rear wheel brake, pump the front wheel brake of the same circuit in the same way.
Warnings! On cars, a diagonal brake drive is used, i.e. If you have bled the rear right wheel, then bleed the front left.
When bleeding the brake system, do not forget to periodically check the level of brake fluid in the reservoir of the master brake cylinder and top up if necessary.
