Useful tips. Type of brake fluid - «Tom» or «Dew» class not lower than DOT-4.
When the brake fluid level in the reservoir drops below the mark «MIN» The control lamp in the instrument cluster lights up red. We recommend that you check the level before each ride and, if necessary, add fluid to the tank without waiting for the control lamp to light up: this operation is best done in advance. If the brake fluid in the reservoir has to be topped up quite often, immediately contact a specialist or fix the problem yourself (see section «Brake system»).
At changing brake fluid in the system, remember or write down the brand of liquid that was filled in order to use the same brand when topping up. When installing a tank cap with a sensor, the liquid level in the tank rises slightly due to the volume of the sensor float.
The reservoir is installed on the brake master cylinder on the left side of the engine compartment near the bulkhead.

Warning! Take precautions when handling brake fluid: it is toxic.
Useful tips. In order not to expose yourself in the future to unforeseen expenses for the repair of the brake system, and even the entire car as a whole, replace the brake fluid with fresh one in a timely manner. It is very hygroscopic and absorbs moisture from the air, which, in addition to corroding parts of the brake system, increases the boiling point of the fluid itself, which can lead to brake failure during frequent heavy braking.
Do not reuse the fluid drained from the system: it is contaminated, saturated with air and moisture. Contact with brake fluid on wires, plastic or painted parts of the body can cause damage. Therefore, always place clean rags when pouring. If liquid comes into contact with these parts, wipe them off immediately with a clean cloth.
1. Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. It must be between the marks «MIN» and «MAX», applied to the body of the tank.

4. Check the operation of the brake fluid level drop sensor installed in the reservoir cap. To do this, turn on the ignition, then press the button on the tank cap. In the instrument cluster, the service brake warning light should come on. If the lamp does not light up, the sensor is most likely defective.
