Passport data of the car

The vehicle model and number, engine model, manufacturer's name, design options and equipment are indicated on the identification plate attached under the hood on the partition of the engine compartment.

This is what the identification plate looks like:

• 1 - manufacturer;
• 2 - identification number;
• 3 - engine model;
• 4 - load on the front axle;
• 5 - load on the rear axle;
• 6 - configuration number;
• 7 - version;
• 8 - permitted weight of the vehicle with a trailer;
• 9 - permitted maximum vehicle weight;
• 10 - number for ordering spare parts.

Identification number decoding (XTA21140023183471):

• first three letters (HTA) - manufacturer's index: the first letter indicates the geographical area (X - Europe); the second is the country (T - Russia); third - manufacturer (A - AO «AvtoVAZ»);
• the next six digits (211400) - Car model;
• number 2 - model year code of the car (see table. 1.2);
• last seven digits (3183471) - body number.
