Warning! In the power supply system of the engine with fuel injection, the pressure is 30 MPa (3 kgf/cm2). Therefore, it is forbidden to loosen the fuel line connections while the engine is running or immediately after it has stopped. To carry out work on the power supply system on a freshly stopped engine, it is necessary to first reduce the pressure in the system. 2-3 hours after the engine stops, the pressure in the system drops to almost zero.
To reduce pressure, use the control valve located at the rear end of the fuel rail and closed with a plastic cap. The design of the valve is similar to the spool of the wheel tire.
1. Unscrew the cap..
2.... press the spool, drain the fuel into a container specially prepared for this.
Warning! Be careful, high pressure fuel will come out in a spray jet.
3. Screw on the plastic cap.
4. After that, you can disconnect the fuel lines.
