Windshield replacement

To replace damaged glass, remove the wiper arms, seal bezel, etc. by pressing on the upper corners of the glass, squeeze it out. At the same time, the assistant should support the glass from the outside (pic. 8-23).



When installing the windshield:

• wash the grooves of the seal 9 with gasoline (see fig. 8-9);
• put a seal with a border on the glass;
• into the groove with which the seal 2 (pic. 8-24) is put on the flange of the body opening, insert the cord 1 with a screwdriver;
• install the glass in the opening of the body and pull the ends of the cord from the inside of the body so that the seal sits in place. The assistant should lightly press on the glass from the outside.
