Most circuits are turned on by the ignition switch. Always on (regardless of the position of the key in the ignition switch) power supply circuits for sound signals, cigarette lighter, brake light, interior lampshades, alarm switch (in alarm mode) and a socket for a portable lamp.
The electrical equipment of the car is protected by fuses (pic. 7-1), installed under the instrument panel on the left side of the steering column. The battery charge circuit, the relay for switching on the dipped and main beam headlights, the ignition and engine start circuits are not protected by fuses. Fuses 11, 13, 14, 15 (pic. 7-1), installed in the optional fuse box are not used.
Pic. 7-1. Fuses
Before replacing a blown fuse, it is necessary to find out the cause of its burning, and eliminate it. When troubleshooting, it is recommended to review the circuits listed in Table 7-1 that this fuse protects.
