The VAZ-21219 car differs from the VAZ-2121 mainly in the installation of the 21213 engine. Therefore, there are features in the repair of individual components and engine systems, as well as the ignition system and the carburetor solenoid valve control system.
The clutch is equipped with a driven disk 21213.
The gearbox is five-speed. Features of its device and repair are described in section III.
The cardan transmission from the gearbox to the transfer case is used with a constant velocity joint.
