Most circuits are turned on by the ignition switch. Always on (regardless of the position of the key in the ignition switch) power supply circuits for the horn, brake light, cigarette lighter, lampshades, socket for a portable lamp, as well as the power supply circuits for the alarm, outdoor lighting and headlight high beam signaling.
Most of the vehicle's electrical power supply circuits are protected by fuses installed under the instrument panel on the left side of the steering column (pic. 7-2). The battery charge circuit, the ignition and engine start circuits, the relay for switching on the high and low beams of the headlights are not protected by fuses. Fuses 11, 12, 14, 16 installed in the additional fuse box are reserved. They can be used for various vehicle configurations.
Before replacing a blown fuse, find out the cause of its blown and eliminate it. When looking for a malfunction, it is recommended to view the ones indicated in Table. 7-1 circuits that this fuse protects.

* On cars manufactured before 1996, a voltmeter was installed in the instrument cluster instead of a control lamp, which was also protected by fuse No. 2.
Warning: When repairing the car and the car's electrical system, it is imperative to disconnect the wire from the output «minus» battery.
Warning: When operating the car and when checking the car's electrical circuit, it is not allowed to use fuses that are not provided for by the car's design.
